Vaccination Requirements

Keeping everyone healthy is one of our top priorities. Therefore, all dogs must have proof of required vaccinations and the town license on file prior to participation in the interview. Vaccination documentation must be from a veterinary care provider and show the dog’s name, and not be expired.

The same vaccination can have different names. Here is a list of the vaccinations we require and some alternate names:

• Rabies:
  K9 Rabies, Rabies Booster (not required for puppies under 6 months of age)
• Bordetella:
  Bordetella Intranasal, Bordetella Injectable, Bordetella Oral, Bordetella SC Vaccine, Canine Cough, Kennel Cough
• Distemper:
  DHPP1, DHPP2, DHPP3, K9 Distemper, DA2PP, Distemper Hepatitis Parainfluenza Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, DHPP Vaccine, Canine Distemper Adenovirus Parainfluenza Parvovirus, DA2PP-Pv Vaccine
